For the detection of spiral bevel gear faults, we mainly use the method of detecting vibration and noise signals, which can conveniently measure the vibration and noise signals of the bevel gear, and then analyze and identify the cause of the fault. At present, there are several commonly used signal analysis and processing methods as follows

 

1. Time domain analysis method, which includes various different analyses such as time-domain waveform, amplitude modulation demodulation, phase demodulation, etc

 

2. Frequency domain analysis method, which includes several methods such as power spectrum, refined spectrum, etc.

 

3. Cepstrum analysis method

 

4. Time frequency domain analysis method, which also includes functions such as short-term FFT, Wigner distribution, and wavelet analysis

 

5. Transient signal analysis method, which includes several methods such as waterfall plots.

 

These are the methods we commonly use to inspect and analyze spiral bevel gear faults, and we can use them according to the actual situation
